Over the past few days, two fascinating facts about November have been brought to my attention. Indeed, it turns out November is more than turkey and Pilgrims and a stepping stone to Christmas. I know! It surprised me, too. As luck would have it, November is… are you ready for it? … National Blog Posting Month and National Novel Writing Month. Otherwise affectionately referred to as NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo, respectively. Fact.
From these recent revelations I can only draw one conclusion: The powers that be want me putting the pen to the paper everyday for the next 30 days (according to their web sites), either literally in my notebook or figuratively on my computer . This seems like an overly ambitious plan, but what the heck? It’s the first day of November, a fresh start, and good intentions never hurt anyone. Right?
